Biomerica Inc.: The Newport Beach manufacturer of medical diagnostic products reported that net income increased 57% for the fiscal year ended May 31, to $88,498, or 3 cents a share, from $56,491, or 1 cent a share, for the prior year. The company said the previous year’s earnings included a gain of $138,744 from an accounting change. Revenue rose 11% to $9.2 million from $8.3 million.
