You Oughta Know: Alanis Morissette’s “Jagged Little Pill” album continues to be the surprise hit of the summer, remaining No. 2 in The Times’ Southern California album chart and No. 3 in the national chart for the second consecutive week. The 21-year-old Canadian has sold about 850,000 copies of her U.S. debut, more than 550,000 in the last four weeks, according to SoundScan. She’ll be performing Sept. 17-18 at the John Anson Ford Theatre in Hollywood.
