Share

The Irvine Co. said Friday that construction of Phase II of the Corporate Business Center at Irvine Spectrum will begin next week and that the first phase of the industrial development project has been completed.

The Orange County developer said it has commitments for most of the space in the three buildings that will go up during the second phase of construction at the Corporate Business Center, but declined to name the companies.

A dozen office buildings are to be built in the center during five construction phases. The complex is part of the Irvine Co.’s 3,600-acre Spectrum business park, home to about 2,000 companies and more than 33,000 employees.
