Access HealthNet Inc., a Westlake Village provider of health-care information and communications systems, had increased revenues but lower earnings in its most recent quarter.

Revenue during the three months ended June 30, which is Access’ first fiscal quarter, came to $2.9 million this year, up from $2.2 million in the same three months of 1994. Net income in the 1995 first quarter fell to $107,000 from $360,000 last year.

The company blamed the lower profit on the cost of hiring additional personnel. Operating costs rose to $1.5 million in the quarter from $871,000 a year ago, Access said.
