Yamaha Motor Corp. USA: The Cypress company said Wednesday that it has purchased Century Boat Co., a manufacturer of fiberglass recreation boats based in Panama City, Fla. Yamaha had been a minority partner in Century since January. Yamaha issued a letter of intent July 28 to purchase the company. Century manufactures fiberglass sportfishing and runabout boats.
