A plane with a pilot and 10 parachutists aboard crashed into a house Sunday evening, killing everyone aboard, authorities said.
The house, about 3 1/2 miles east of Shacklefords in eastern Virginia, caught fire, state police said. It was not immediately known if anyone was inside.
The Beechcraft Queen Air BE-65 took off from West Point Municipal Airport, about five miles from the crash scene, said a spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration.
