I hope that the movie “The Tuskegee Airmen” is more accurate than the HBO full-page ad in the Aug. 20 TV Times, which proclaims “Based on the true story of the 332nd Airborne.” No such unit ever existed. (There was a 332nd Fighter Group.)
And the picture behind the airmen shows P51 Mustang fighters apparently shooting down a well-marked American AT6 training plane.
