AMA Targets Alcoholism

CHICAGO —
The American Medical Assn. is distributing guidelines on how to recognize alcoholism in older patients to 110,000 primary-care physicians nationwide.
The AMA said as many as 3 million Americans over 60 are alcoholics or have a drinking problem.
