It was a pleasure to see Patricia Velasquez, who is not from Eastern Europe but is one of today’s most beautiful models, on your Aug. 27 cover. Being a Venezuelan myself, I have followed her career since she won the Miss Peninsula Guajira title in the 1989 Miss Venezuela pageant. I’m very proud of this bright young woman from my home country.
