Ceradyne Inc.: The Costa Mesa technical ceramics manufacturer said net income for the third quarter reached $564,000, or 9 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $493,000, or 8 cents a share, for the third quarter of 1994. Sales rose 47% to $6.3 million from $4.3 million. For the nine-month period, net income totaled $1.4 million, or 21 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $1.2 million, or 20 cents a share, for the comparable prior-year period. Sales were up 33% to $17.4 million to $13.1 million.
