KFC Diversifies: KFC International Inc. is undergoing a virtual face-lift by adding chicken-based pot pies, burritos, gumbo soup and salads to its more famous menu of fried chicken. “We’re getting out of the fast-food mind-set,” said David C. Novak, chief executive of KFC North America. And to compete with home delivery by pizza and Chinese restaurants, KFC is expanding its delivery services, which are now offered in 300 stores.
