Comprehensive Care Corp. Sells Hospital, Clinics in Washington

NEWPORT BEACH — Comprehensive Care Corp. said it has sold a hospital and three affiliated clinics to Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers Inc. of Bothell, Wash.
The Newport Beach company, which has been selling off hospitals to refocus itself as a contract provider of health-care services, said it recorded a $1-million gain on the sale of the hospital in Kirkland, Wash., and the nearby clinics. The sale occurred Oct. 3.
