Oregon Man Gets Jail Term in Computer Rape Case

SALEM, Ore. —
A 29-year-old man has been convicted of having sex with a 14-year-old girl he met on the Internet.
James Heigh, 29, was sentenced Tuesday to 30 days in jail and five years on probation for third-degree rape after he admitted having sex with the girl. Third-degree rape applies to an adult having sex with a girl who is under 16, even if she consents.
