Liberty National Bank: SDN Bancorp. of Encinitas has signed a final agreement to acquire the Huntington Beach bank for at least $14.5 million. As part of the deal, Liberty National shareholders will receive $14.80 a share, or 1.3 times the company’s book value, whichever is greater. Liberty National currently has 978,160 common shares outstanding. The bank has a branch in Dana Point. The transaction is expected to close early next year.
