Advanced Logic Research Inc.: The Irvine computer company reported net income of $4.9 million, or 41 cents a share, for the year ended Sept. 30, contrasted with a net loss of $346,000, or 3 cents a share, for the previous year. Sales gained 5% to $192.4 million from $183.4 million. Fourth-quarter net income rose to $2 million, or 17 cents a share, from $365,000, or 3 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue grew 12% to $53.4 million from $47.7 million.
