* 1/2 Chynna Phillips, “Naked and Sacred,” EMI. Airy, blissed-out harmonies reigned supreme with Wilson Phillips, but Phillips’ first solo project never really gets off the ground. Though Wilson has good taste in choosing material, everything still sounds like watered-down Madonna. It would take someone with that kind of edge to carry songs such as the title track and “I Live for You” to the funkier outer limits. Solo, Phillips doesn’t fly.

New albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
