Tokos Medical Corp.: The Santa Ana-based company’s planned merger with Healthdyne Inc. of Marietta, Ga., has cleared a review by the Federal Trade Commission, the companies said.

Tokos and Healthdyne plan to form a new company providing pregnancy management services and home obstetrical care.

The combined company will consist of the businesses of Tokos and Healthdyne’s Maternity Management unit.

The merger is expected to be completed early next year.
