CAMARILLO : Golf Event to Raise Money for Boy Scouts

Forty golfers will play 100 holes today to raise money for Ventura County’s Boy Scouts of America.

Golfers in the marathon of drives, chips and putts will raise money through pledges from friends, family and community members. Organizers hope to earn $100,000 for the Boy Scouts.

The event will take place all day at Las Posas Country Club, 955 Fairway Drive, Camarillo. Golfers will receive food and gifts for participating.
