Avery Dennison Expands in Asia: The Pasadena-based maker of labels and other products said it opened a plant in Kunshan, China, and will open another in Hong Kong as it expands into the Asian market. Avery Dennison Corp. said its Chinese plant will make rolls of self-adhesive materials used in the making of labels and other products. The company will also build a plant in Hong Kong to expand the operations of its Soabar line of adhesive tickets and tags used in apparel and retail. Avery Dennison said the plants will help the company take advantage of fast-growing markets for its products across Asia.
