NewGen Systems Corp.: Bernard Girma has been named president and chief executive of the Costa Mesa manufacturer of imaging devices for the printing industry. He was previously vice president and general manager of CalComp Printer division, and vice president of strategic planning at CalComp. Before that, Girma held various senior management positions in telecommunications and electronic printing with General Electric and Xerox.
