How to Avoid Financial Ruin: Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Los Angeles will offer three workshops on how to keep out of financial ruin during the Christmas shopping season. Workshops will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 15 and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 18 on the fourth floor of 600 Citadel Drive in Walnut. A third will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 16 at 3848 Carson St., Suite E-103, in Torrance.
