The Big Squeeze

Here’s another method for extracting pomegranate juice (“The Seeds of Youth,” Oct. 26). Place the seeds in a heavy-duty plastic freezer zipper bag, leaving about a half inch of space. Squoosh out the excess air, then close the bag, being sure it is tightly closed. Place the bag on a cutting board. Take a rolling pin, and bash the seeds in the bag. Then roll the pin over them. Continue bashing and rolling. When you think all the juice is extracted, open one corner of the bag and pour it out. Be careful not to bash so hard that you break the bag.
