A fired bank employee is accused of fatally shooting four people, including a 4-month-old girl, and wounding at least one other adult Sunday night in separate shootings, police said.

The fired worker, whose name was not immediately available, was wounded later in a shootout, police Sgt. Jim Longebone said. He was taken to a hospital, but police would not give his condition.

At least two victims were bank employees, Longebone said.

In the first shooting, a gunman broke into a Columbus home and killed bank employee Brian Stevens, 36, his wife, Tracy, 25, and their 4-month-old daughter. A visitor, Ruth Canter, 33, was injured.

The gunman went to a second Columbus home, wounding bank employee Mark P. Campolito, 33, in the left arm. His condition was not immediately available.

The gunman then went to a third home in the suburb of Worthington and killed another person. Details on that shooting were not immediately available, Worthington police said.

The fired bank worker was arrested in Ashland, 72 miles northeast of Columbus. He was wounded in a shootout with an ex-girlfriend’s husband, who was not injured in the rampage.
