IBM Names Santelli to Key PC Post: International Business Machines Corp. named Anthony Santelli general manager, product and brand management of its Personal Computer Co. division. Santelli replaces Bruce Claflin, who recently left to head Digital Equipment Corp.’s PC business. Santelli, formerly general manager of IBM Power Personal Systems division, will report to Robert Stephenson, head of the PC Co. Santelli, who has been with IBM for 31 years, had previously worked for IBM PC Co. Meanwhile, IBM is believed to be losing David Barnes, the key cheerleader for its much-maligned operating system, OS/2 Warp, industry sources said. Barnes is expected to join a small computer training company based in Wilton, Conn., called RightSource. It was not clear why Barnes was leaving. An IBM spokesman declined comment.
