COSTA MESA : District Awaits Review of Reservoir Design
Until independent consultants complete a design review of the city’s new reservoir, no more money will be spent for water quality testing, the board of the Mesa Consolidated Water District announced earlier this week.
Board members said that they will ask representatives of Corrao-Brady Group of San Diego, an engineering consulting firm, to attend the board’s Dec. 21 meeting in order to present the results of their investigation of the district’s east-side reservoir.
Corrao-Brady was hired in October to conduct a design review after residents raised questions about potential water flow problems.
The board, which had allocated $9,000 for water testing, may reinstate that project after hearing from the consultants, members said.
