Xecom Acquires Dallas Firm in Stock Deal

Xecom Corp. said Wednesday it has acquired Select Switch Systems Inc., a Dallas-based telecommunications company, through an exchange of stock. Details were not disclosed. Select Switch provides a variety of telecommunication services to college and university campuses. Xecom Corp., through its wholly owned subsidiary SelecTel Corp. of Costa Mesa, provides telecommunication systems data and network services.
