Teen Held in Killing Is Suspect in 2nd Slaying
A 13-year-old boy who was arrested in connection with the robbery and murder of a West Philadelphia grocer is a suspect in at least one other killing, officials said Friday.
The teen, whose name was withheld because of his age, was spotted running with a second person from the store owned by Won Joo Choi. Choi, 47, was found dead, shot several times, a police source said.
Two other grocers have been shot during holdups recently and the boy was being questioned about a Nov. 13 incident not far from Choi’s store that resulted in the grocer’s death.
