Pair’s AIDS Posters Take Top Honors
A Cypress College student and an alumnus combined their talents to create two posters that won the grand prize in the American Red Cross Orange County Chapter’s AIDS Awareness Poster Contest.
The winners were Lisa Sims, who currently attends the community college; and Armando Radillo, a former student.
Their two posters were titled “HIV Is Closer to Home Than You Think” and “AIDS Can’t Be Wiped Away.”
Their entry in the contest was sponsored by Michael Johnson, a Cypress College computer graphics instructor.
