Valleywide : Zoning Officials to Hear Permit Requests

Share

During the new few weeks, city zoning officials will consider a number of proposed city permits and zoning variances, involving a proposed cell phone antenna in North Hollywood, a liquor permit in West Hills, and a too-tall house in Studio City.

The hearings will take place either in Sherman Oaks at the Sherman Oaks Woman’s Club, 4808 Kester Ave., or in downtown Los Angeles at 201 N. Figueroa St., Room 170. Zoning officials will review requests for the following items:

* An appeal of a city zoning official’s grant of a variance allowing a house in the Studio City hills to be 63 feet high, despite the area’s 36-foot height limit. The hearing on the house, proposed to be built at 3752 Avenida del Sol, will be held downtown at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 23.

* A conditional-use permit to build a cell phone antenna on top of an office building at 10850 Riverside Drive in Studio City. The hearing will be held in Sherman Oaks at 9 a.m. Friday.
