Builder Makes Final Land Buy

FOOTHILL RANCH — A Dallas-based developer has purchased the last 13.5 acres zoned for residential use in the master-planned Foothill Ranch community.

Westwood Residential Companies plans to build a 300-unit Mediterranean-style apartment complex at Alton Parkway and the Foothill Transportation Corridor. Construction is expected to be completed this summer.

Foothill Ranch is a 2,743-acre residential and business community that will ultimately include more than 3,900 housing units and more than 8.5 million square feet of retail and commercial space.
