Biomedical Company Discloses Merger Talks: Hygenics Pharmaceuticals Inc. of Laguna Hills said Friday it has entered preliminary discussions to merge with an East Coast pharmaceutical manufacturing company. The company was not identified. Hygenics, which became a public company two years ago, develops and markets disinfectant lotions.
