Police are asking for assistance in their search for a Hawthorne man who has been missing since New Year’s Eve.

Ronald Flores, 29, who may also use the name Ronald Coldoy, was last seen by family members at his Prairie Avenue home around midnight on Dec. 31, according to Hawthorne Police Lt. Arvid Krueger.

Flores left home without telling anyone where he planned to go, said his sister Marena Flores, who lives in the house with her daughter. When she checked her brother’s room the morning of Jan. 1, she said his wallet with identification and credit cards was still there. Also, she said his motorcycle was left in front of the house.
