Four teenagers suspected of robbing more than a dozen local businesses across South County were arrested after a floral shop was hit, sheriff’s officials said Friday.

The string of robberies ended Thursday after Deputy Steve Shandrick caught a 17-year-old who allegedly robbed the Pange Florist in the 24700 block of Alicia Parkway, sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Ron Wilkerson said.

The arrest led officials to three other suspects who investigators believe were involved in at least 13 robberies, Wilkerson said. The three were arrested at their Laguna Hills homes.

One suspect, identified as Ryan McCoy, 19, was booked at Orange County Jail on suspicion of robbery. Bail was set at $50,000. The other three, whose names were not released because of their ages, 16 and 17, remain at Juvenile Hall.
