Harley-Davidson to Sell Unit: The Milwaukee-based company, focusing on its strong motorcycle business, said it agreed to sell its Holiday Rambler recreational vehicle division to Monaco Coach Corp., a Junction, Ore.-based manufacturer of luxury leisure vehicles, for $50 million. Harley-Davidson Inc., the only major U.S. motorcycle manufacturer, also said it hired an investment banking firm to explore the sale of its Utilimaster commercial vehicle unit and its B&B; Molders injection-molded plastics business. The sale of Holiday Rambler, which Harley-Davidson acquired in 1986, is subject to antitrust clearance and Monaco’s securing of financing. It is expected to close by the end of March.
