Simpson Questioned About Cut on Finger, Flight to Chicago

O.J. Simpson was questioned in detail Tuesday about what he did June 12, 1994, the day Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Lyle Goldman were slain, according to an attorney representing Goldman’s mother, Sharon Rufo.

Simpson was asked about a cut on the middle finger of his left hand and about a flight he took to Chicago the night of the killings, according to attorney Michael A. Brewer. Brewer and Goldman’s father, Fred, said Simpson’s responses surprised them, but they declined to elaborate.

Meanwhile, Goldman’s lawyers asked a Santa Monica Superior Court judge to order video-maker Tony Hoffman to release Simpson’s tape to them by Thursday so they can use it to help prepare questions. Hoffman’s attorneys contended that dissemination of the video before Feb. 17 would undermine its value. Judge Alan B. Haber deferred a ruling until today.
