Microsemi Corp.: The Santa Ana semiconductor company reported net income of $1.4 million, or 17 cents a share, for the first quarter of fiscal 1996, 40% higher than the $1 million, or 13 cents a share, recorded for the like period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 increased 27% to $35.3 million from $27.7 million.
