South Bay : MAN FOUND DROWNED
The body of a Redondo Beach man was found floating in the Port Royal Marina, police said Wednesday.
The 64-year-old man, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, reportedly lived on a boat in the marina and fell overboard and drowned between 10 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. Police said witnesses who were with the deceased that evening have been contacted and reported that the man was intoxicated when they left his boat that evening. Police said the incident is under investigation.
