Too Bad Antonovich Opposition Is Token

It’s a shame that County Supervisor Mike Antonovich has only token opposition in the next election, but I can understand it. It’s tough to run against Antonovich with his huge war chest of campaign funds, helped by his developer friends.

It’s a double shame because Antonovich, who professes to be a fiscal conservative, happily participated in the increased perks and obscene pensions that he voted himself.

And where was he as supervisors quietly mortgaged land and buildings to cover up yearly deficits while they helped themselves to more money? It’s a real shame, but this man has no shame.
