Meadows Elementary to Hold Music Day
Meadows Elementary School students, parents and friends will celebrate Music Exploration Day in Thousand Oaks on Friday.
The day of music education and appreciation begins with a demonstration of instruments by musicians, who will also offer students brief lessons.
Students will learn about musical styles from several professionals, including Don Grady, a composer and keyboardist who was the actor who portrayed Robbie on “My Three Sons”; Burleigh Drummond and Mary Harris of the musical group Tin Drum; and Janine De Warte, elementary school band director and saxophonist.
