Terrorist Acts
On Jan. 17, you published a letter written by Aaron Breitbart of the Simon Wiesenthal Center. This letter was nothing more than a personal attack on the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) and its director, Salam Al-Marayati. Breitbart clearly knows nothing about the repeated condemnation by MPAC of all terrorist acts, regardless of the perpetrator.
Rather than engage Breitbart in his unfounded claims as to who has condemned what acts committed by whom, I would recommend to him that if he is seriously interested in human rights and combating terrorism, it would be more appropriate to engage in a mutually beneficial dialogue with MPAC and other groups committed to the same end.
