Smith Micro Software Inc.: The Aliso Viejo company, which completed its initial public offering in September, posted net income of $3.8 million, or 30 cents a share, up from the $1.6 million, or 13 cents a share, for 1994. Revenue increased 73% to $18 million from $10.4 million. For the fourth quarter, net income rose to $1.2 million, or 9 cents a share, from $128,800, or 1 cent a share, for the comparable 1994 period. Revenue rose 58% to $4.9 million from $3.1 million.
