Urohealth Systems Inc.: The Costa Mesa manufacturer of urological medical products reported a net loss of $14.8 million, or $1.20 a share, for the second quarter, ended Dec. 31, which included $8.9 million in restructuring charges and merger and acquisition costs. That compares with a net loss of $2.8 million, or 25 cents a share, for the prior-year period. Sales rose 8% to $11.6 million from $10.7 million. The net loss for the first half of the fiscal year was $18.5 million, or $1.58 a share, compared with a net loss of $13.3 million, or $1.18 a share, for the corresponding six months a year earlier. Sales were up 15% to $25.1 million from $21.9 million.
