Patricia George; TV Actress, Co-Founder of Film Workshops

Patricia George, 64, a television actress who co-founded Film Industry Workshops Inc. to train writers, directors and actors. She had character roles in more than 75 television series, including “Bewitched,” “Rawhide,” “77 Sunset Strip” and “Perry Mason” and the soap operas “Days of Our Lives” and “General Hospital.” In the days of live television, she also acted in the highly respected “Studio One” and “Kraft Theatre.” In 1962, she co-founded the workshop with her husband, Tony Miller. She served as president, staff director and teacher for 34 years, helping to shape the careers of such performers as Sally Field, Sam Elliot, Debra Winger and Bonnie Franklin. On Jan. 31 in Los Angeles of lung cancer.
