EPA Extends Contract
NEWPORT BEACH —
Smith Environmental Technologies Corp. said Wednesday it has received a six-month extension and a three-month option, valued at a combined $17.2 million, on an emergency response contract with the Environmental Protection Agency.
Smith Environmental said the contract, which totals about $183.5 million to date, is for the delivery of emergency response and removal action services. The company provides engineering, construction and hazardous-waste remediation services.
