O.J. Simpson Interview
Regarding O.J. Simpson’s interview with The Times (Feb. 6) and his latest live phone call to CNN, I am reminded of my father’s words to me when I was young: When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging.

Please don’t allow the paper to subject us all over again to the abomination of the Simpson story. It is material for the National Enquirer, not The Times. What is at all newsworthy about it? Why is it on the front page? What happened to news of the world? We don’t need more trash.
