Clothes Crush, Kill Man

ALBANY, N.Y. —
A Salvation Army employee working in a warehouse was crushed to death by an 1,180-pound bundle of used clothing.
Michael Raughter, 57, was found Tuesday under a rectangular bundle of clothing measuring about 8 feet by 5 feet, police said. His body was taken to a hospital, where the cause of death was listed as massive internal injuries.
Insurance and federal workplace safety officials were investigating.
