U.S. Soldier Killed in Bosnia
* As unfortunate as it is that our country has now had its first victim in Bosnia (Feb. 4), there is no other option for us than to be part of the peace process there. We cannot be another bystander and at the same time claim high moral ground. Brutal crimes as the ones witnessed in Bosnia are crimes on humanity. We cannot let the vicious past repeat itself anywhere if stoppable.
Furthermore, none of our soldiers went there unwillingly, because there is no draft. There are always risks when entering the military. To call oneself the world’s last superpower not only brings rights but also responsibilities.

* An American soldier died in Bosnia. Where is the national interest that justifies the waste of his life? It doesn’t exist--now he doesn’t exist. One down and how many to go in Clinton’s Calamity.
