Tennessee Nuclear Plant Gains Operating License

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —
After 23 years of construction and delays, a nuclear reactor has received federal permission to operate at full power. The Tennessee Valley Authority on Wednesday was granted an operating license until 2035 for the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant.
