Launching into its wildly eclectic, homemade dance grooves with sly enthusiasm, this duo (which performs tonight at Dreams and Spaceland) delivers a culinary concept album that ranges from dreamy sweetness to crunchier funk with a vintage ‘70s tinge--not to mention a dense, brooding rendition of “The Candy Man.” Some of the protracted jams are a bit aimless, but the food theme binds things together.
