Microsoft, Visa Unit Strike Deal: The Redmond, Wash.-based company and the Visa International subsidiary Visa Interactive will work together to provide electronic payment processing for users of Microsoft’s Money personal finance software, executives said. The agreement is expected to be approved next month by the Visa International board. It would give banks an alternative to the processor owned by Microsoft Corp. rival Intuit Inc. Visa said the deal already has been approved in principle by its U.S., Canadian and European boards.
